These Beautiful Colored Turtles are Hand Made in Thailand by a small group of artists working out of their Homes. Most are made in the Northern Regions of Thailand, around the city of Chiang Mai. A couple originally started this business as a way for People to Learn a Skill and make Money for their Families. They are made with the Cloth and Sand. The Sand is delivered by Truck then Distributed to the Families. I Love that this Sand comes from Koh Chang, a Small Island South of Bangkok. Koh Means Island, Chang means Elephant. This Island is home to Several Elephant Sanctuaries. These toys work great for a variety of uses including bean bag toss, cornhole, or even use as a decorative paper weight.Turtles are an order of reptiles known as Testudines, characterized by a shell developed mainly from their ribs. Modern turtles are divided into two major groups, the Pleurodira and Cryptodira, which differ in the way the head retracts
